One thing at a time. Wholeheartedly.

Life has a way of piling on, doesn’t it? The never-ending to-do list, the urgent needs of the world, and the weight of responsibilities can feel overwhelming at times. In moments like these, I often find myself trying to do everything at once and failing at all of it.

When you feel that familiar overwhelm creeping in, I encourage you to pause. Take a deep, intentional breath. And instead of focusing on everything, focus on just one thing.

One thing at a time. Wholeheartedly.

What is the very next step in front of you? Not five steps ahead, not the end goal—just the next thing. Pour your attention, love, and care into that one step. When I ground myself in the present moment and give my full heart to what’s immediately in front of me, I notice that I find more clarity and space to see what needs to be done and how I might be able to help tackle it.

This practice isn’t just about productivity—it’s about showing up for your life and your loved ones and your community with intention and grace. By approaching one thing at a time with a whole heart, you’re not just crossing items off a list; you’re creating a life filled with care, presence, and meaning.
